As the Director of Family Experience, Tamiko Singleton oversees scholar recruitment, enrollment compliance and reporting, community engagement and family experiences to ensure Achievement Prep is living up to its promise to uphold the community school values it was founded upon. She joined Achievement Prep in 2016 and has previously served as the Special Assistant to the CEO/Founder and Operations Manager. Before joining Achievement Prep, she’s worked with Communities in Schools of Richmond and YWCA National Capital Area leading their out of school time programs. Tamiko holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Virginia Commonwealth University.
