Why Achievement Prep?

As the school year comes to an end, a new journey for our incoming teachers, school leaders, and staff is just beginning. Before our Platinum Teachers are off to have a restful Summer we asked for them to share why they chose work at Achievement Prep.

Ms. Gupta
5th Grade Math
“I work at Achievement Prep because of the scholars. They motivate me and inspire me everyday with their hard work, sweet notes, brilliant minds and honesty. They deserve the best so I try to give them that every single day.”

Ms. Harrison
Middle School Dean of Teacher Effectiveness
“Because Achievement Prep has needs where I have talents and expertise, and my goal has always been to pour into scholars who were often underserved.”

Ms. Allen
School Psychologist
“Because working at Achievement Prep is an opportunity not only to shape the life of their scholars but the community at large”

Mr. Timberlake
Elementary School P.E. Teacher
“Achievement Prep is a place where genuine relationships are built, not only with your co-workers, but also with scholars and families.”

Ms. Harris and Ms. Ceasar
K/1st Grade Math and ELA (respectively)
“I work at achievement prep because the demographic of scholars that are being served here deserve to have a great education from teachers who are passionate about their learning. It brings me to joy to serve a community of parents and scholars who are motivated to defy the odds and achieve.” -Ms. Harris
“I work at achievement prep because I have the privilege of providing our scholars with the same opportunities that were given to me growing up in an underserved community.” -Ms. Ceasar
