The One World Challenge, where scholars from around D.C. present speeches on social issues, is still taking place virtually this year,and Amyah Foster has entered her speech into the competition! Even with everything going on, she has continued to do research, edit her essay and speech, and record her argument about gun control laws and school shootings.Amyah placed 3rd last year amongst all D.C. middle schoolers and has been working really hard to do even better this year.
